What. The. HECK!!!!!!

Ahhh, nothing like a little global warming....
to cover your vulnerable flower buds...

to threaten the life of almost the only living plants you own...

and to totally destroy any hopes of having plenty of zucchini squash this summer.
Humph! Nothing like global warming.

On a totally unrelated note, here is a random baby rabbit that we saw in our yard the other morning. Take notice, snow/frost/hail/all things cold. Scamper like this little rabbit did when my kids tried to make it their pet.

A baby rabbit in your yard? You are so lucky! But your vegetables might not feel so lucky when that bunny gets bigger. Cute picture! - G

Just so you know, you still have oodles of time to plant zucchini. In fact, around here, the later you plant them, the less chance you have of getting squash bugs. So give it a few weeks and try again!

Oh wow! I think we are finally done with the cold weather here, today it was 80 and sunny but we have a month of storms ahead of us. Love the picture of the baby rabbit - but beware he will have friends so if the cold weather doesn't get your plants the rabbits will and they just love pansies, they are all mine last winter!
